LAS VEGAS, NV – JANUARY 6, 2015 – MTX Audio, of the MiTek Electronics and Communications Group, introduced a new powered subwoofer enclosure at CES 2015, the RTP8A, that is designed to offer a simple solution to add bass to any vehicle.

The RTP8A features an 8", 2Ω subwoofer with polypropylene cone and integrated 240-watt peak power class D amplifier. The enclosure is constructed using 0.6" medium density fiberboard and includes a side-mounted vent that increases output and delivers deep bass. The amplifier is internally mounted and includes both high and low level input connections, set screw terminals, and a fixed low pass crossover. An external bass control is included allowing for remote adjustment of the bass level.
