- Using a text editor such as Notepad, open the SIPServer.exe.config file.
- Locate the "LocalIPToUse" field and change its value to be the IP Address of the PC.
- Note the many extensions defined toward the bottom of the file. Typically, the 10000-range is used for the Grandstream, and others are used by the SIP Interface on the VACS. Choose one of these for the softphone. These instructions 102 will be used.
- In the callMaps section, ensure that there is a mapping between extension 10000 and 102.
- Save and exit the file.
- Note the SipServerMonitor program. This will be used later in this test.
- From the command line, run SIPServer as follows: SipServer -console

- Set the unit to be on the same subnet as the PC.
- On the Profile 1 page, set the SIP Server to point to the PC.
- Click the Update button.
- Click the Reboot button.
- After the unit reboots, use SipServerMonitor to ensure that 10000 has registered.
